"NOT ONE" Campaign Against Domestic Violence

HOSTED BY STATE'S ATTORNEY AISHA BRAVEBOY

Please join State’s Attorney Aisha Braveboy, Prince George's Community College President Dr. Falecia Williams for the “Not One Campaign Against Domestic Violence” Wednesday, October 27th from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.

This year we are excited to include the premiere of "Beyond the Bruises," a riveting documentary of pain, purpose and God's victorious power featuring one of our own Prince Georgians, Ms. Anne Sewell. Come hear from survivors as they share their stories about safety and escape plans.

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Domestic violence affects millions of people, women and men alike. It touches every race, religion, culture and social status. It’s not just hits, punches and slaps. It's humiliation, stalking, manipulation, threats and isolation.  One out of 10 people personally know someone who is or has been a victim of domestic violence.

Join in with domestic violence survivors and special guest speakers. This event will be in-person at Prince George's Community College.  Advanced registration is required.

MASKS ARE REQUIRED - Masks are required in the theater, except while eating or drinking in designated locations.

ALL ATTENDEES MUST SHOW PROOF OF FULL VACCINATION OR A NEGATIVE COVID TEST. No one will be allowed in the facility without proof of full vaccination at the time of entry into the theaters. “Full vaccination” means that either 14 days have passed since receiving the second dose of FDA or WHO authorized double dose vaccine or that 14 days have passed since receiving the sole dose of FDA or WHO authorized single dose vaccine.

For those not vaccinated, proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken within 48 hours of the performance start time is acceptable.
