Welcome -
Gamma Pi is the largest chapter in the Second District of Omega Psi Phi and the third largest in the fraternity. We have a membership in excess of three hundred brothers that supports twenty-five committees and two non-profit foundations.
Through our student mentoring program, Project Enrich, we have prepared over six hundred young people for higher education and given out over five-hundred thousand dollars in scholarships.
In addition, through our Social Action program, we continue to brighten the lives of senior citizens by distributing turkeys at Thanksgiving, sponsoring senior banquets, and promoting a “Seasoned Citizens” birthday bash.
We are proud to say that we have produced leaders that have served Omega on the District and International level and are exemplary assets to our community in general. We have men in or chapter that are leaders in business, politics, government, private industry, and sports. Please join us as we celebrate our 50th Anniversary as a graduate chapter in Prince Georges County MD.
We will continue to support, empower, and affect the lives of the youth and families of Prince George’s County and the communities in which they live. We look forward to the next fifty years in service to our community as we live our cardinal principles and display to the world that “Friendship is essential to the soul.”

Gamma Pi Chapter
Purpose
The purpose of the Fraternity shall be to bring about a union of college men of similar high ideals of scholarship and manhood in order to:
Stimulate the attainment of ideals and ambitions of its members;
Disseminate and inculcate those ideals among those with whom its member come in contact;
Cooperate with the schools where its chapters may be located in fostering these ideals;
Occupy a progressive, helpful and constructive place in the civic and political life, domestically, and internationally;
Prepare its members for greater usefulness in causes of humanity, freedom, and dignity of the individual; and,
Aid down-trodden humanity in its effort to achieve higher social, economic, and intellectual status.
Chapter Vision
To be the premier chapter in providing an unparalleled brotherhood experience that fosters a commitment to the community, personal growth, and excellence without excuses. As men of integrity, we will stand on manhood, build through scholarship, grow through perseverance, and nurture through uplift always demonstrating that friendship is essential to the soul. We produce projects of such magnitude, impact, and value that all sectors of the community rally to invest in their success.
