(Webinar) Empowering Abilities: Programs That Support Individuals with Special Needs

Intellectual and developmental disabilities can cause difficulties in one or more areas, including physical, learning, language, or behavior. Examples of more common developmental disabilities include, ADHD, learning disability (LD), and autism spectrum disorder. Developmental disabilities have profound impacts on the quality of life and social integration of individuals. Established in 1952 by a group of dedicated parents, The Arc Prince George’s County stands as a prominent and comprehensive pillar of assistance for individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities and their families, providing services spanning from infancy to the elderly. Please join the Brothers of Gamma Pi Chapter of the Omega Psi Phi, Fraternity, Inc, as we welcome our special guest N'tuma Kamara, a Resource Navigator for The Arc, and Lauryn Lewis, the Data Program Coordinator as we discuss some of the common conditions and services available through The Arc in Prince George's County, MD.
