Examples of more common developmental disabilities include, ADHD, learning disability (LD), and autism spectrum disorder. Developmental disabilities have profound impacts on the quality of life and social integration of individuals. Established in 1952 by a group of dedicated parents, The Arc Prince George’s County stands as a prominent and comprehensive pillar of assistance for individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities and their families, providing services spanning from infancy to the elderly.
