We are quickly approaching our annual suit drive on January 22, 2021, where we donate suits to men at the Prince George’s Men’s Shelter.

Please start looking through your closets for suits, dress shirts, pants, and ties you are ready to part with. Additionally, if you have unused toiletries, please bag similar products together so it will be easy to consolidate them together when it’s time to pass them out.

• With the new restrictions from the Prince George’s County Men’s Shelter they are no longer accepting donations on the weekends. The donations will be dropped off on Friday, January 22 at 9:00 AM.

• Additionally suits , shirts, pants etc. are required to be brand new or dry cleaned (remaining in dry cleaning bag with tags)

• We will only accept the following items:

  • Suits

  • Dress Shirts

  • Ties

  We will be collecting the donations at Athletic Republic: 6417 Marlboro Pike, District Heights, MD 20747 from 6PM - 8 PM on the following dates:

• Thursday, 1/14/21

• Friday, 1/15/21

• Monday. 1/18/21

• Tuesday, 1/19/21

• Thursday, 1/21/21

As usual, Friendship Charities will provide tax write off receipts, which we will provide forms for you to fill out to get your tax credit for your donations.
